To be fair you could ask the same about the men's team. There were about the same there as for the third day v Yorkshire. I don't know how many people coughed up for a ticket today though. I'm guessing the vast majority were members, 'guests' or on freebies/cheap tickets. I have no idea where the cash comes from to support this. If they had to self-support, I guess it would not be sustainable. Piggybacking on the men's team is the only realistic way of it being feasible. An entertaining day nonetheless.
I was promised 13c and sun. It was cold and damp.Thoroughly enjoyed that game...now to thaw out.

To be fair mens FC cricket outside the T20 is completely unsustainable too. Not a chance the membership and gate takings make even a dent in the player wage bill

I get that but it produces superstars for England who make them a fortune etc
But the men's FC game is the feeder for the England team which draws massive gate,tv and sponsorship income. At present, the women's game draws nothing like comparable revenue from those sources.
