Durham Women

Our fielding last evening was a vast improvement on what I had witnessed previously and it appears that what we have missed is someone like Windsor coming in at No 6 to steady the ship and at the same time not to play daft T20 shots. All her boundaries were pretty much text book.

Totally agree.....in the last game too Windsor looked as though she was a thoughtfhul cricketer who helped get us home. Most times a coolhead is what you need at the end of an innings

I thought more may have attended. School holidays and all that. Or maybe a full day is too much for some folks' attention span. No more than 100 there.
 
Kids I think just don’t have the attention span for 100 overs, bairn absolutely loves cricket and loved the odi, met players had photos taken, but I could tell in those middle overs she was bored, went for a wander and an ice cream

Similar even watching 40 overs club cricket, quite often disappears off to play cricket for a bit, a lot of kids are the same
