Durham Women

Probably the best paced run chase you'll see. Pretty much up with the rate for the first 15 over or so, then a nice acceleration in the last four overs.

I watched most of it side on and our 'quicker' bowling was painfully slow and the slower stuff had at least one delivery per over that was woefully short. Having said that, without Beaumont, we might have got away with it.

Agree completely , Beaumont really was a class above , thought we had a chance when she went but their final pairing closed it out well. Poor final over from Filer though which didnt help......iirc our lasses scored less than 10 off the final two overs.....death batting and bowling both need improving

Agree with this. Still a work in progress.

And Tammy Beaumont is excellent. I saw her at the Riverside for England v NZ last season and she played a superb innings then as well. And she’s only just taller than her bat 😂

times are pain in the arse to get to both, bairns not home from school until 3.40 be looking at 4.30 before we get down then its nearly done then youve a a good hour or so to kill until the men start

Bring a picnic tea. Not the worst place in the world to have to kill an hour or two.
