We've had glorious weather since Friday morning but heavy thunderstorms are forecast to arrive in CLS at 6pm.
Like I said yesterday, not having games on last night was barmy
Didn't stop them scheduling games for the world cup final. 6.30pm start last night wouldn't have bothered anyone. It was due to be Day 5 of the Headingley Test - so it would have been barmy if there WERE games scheduled quite frankly.

They had games on yesterday...Two wrongs don't make a right though do they. 6.30pm would be the time of Close, which could've been later if there was an interruption. Point is, county cricket needs to be played during times where it can get maximum exposure and maximum attendance. Day 5 of an Ashes Test would not allow maximum exposure and many people would think twice about going to Durham to watch us if England were on the verge of a result against Australia.
I'd have thought you of all people would understand that - but to be honest I think you're simply trying to salvage a point from the wreckage of a bit of a ridiculous statement, one which I feel you made as a kneejerk because normally, you do know your onions when it comes to discussing county cricket.
