Durham Vs Sussex - 17th Aug 2022 - RLODC


Likes of Bushnell and Doneathy need to start and look elsewhere. Two wasted talents at this club. Maybe give Jack Campbell a ring and ask him for some advice. Doneathy has been netting earlier. Both were announced in the squad so fair to assume neither are injured? Whole thing is just a mess. Quick look on Twitter and the club can't even be arsed to put score updates on. Honestly just a mess all over at the moment. I'd not blame some players if they wished to move on though.

Killa has been at the club probably since it was first class if not longer, has coached with the England set up, I'm not having him called worse than Franklin!!

The only two coaches who have justified themselves in recent times are Walker & Gidman. North & Franklin need to go for starters that's an absolute must

Not sure what you mean? I'm not going to praise rubbish, poor communication, contempt to members and fans and all round shite. I hope they are reading the forum and get their fingers out their arses and start and improve the whole club. It's shambolic

Not just me saying it today and I don't think it's an unreasonable suggestion to make. If they can't get game time in this side then they need to be considering their futures as they only get a short playing career unless you're Darren Stevens. Stand by what I've said. 165-7. Also you state "our better young players" - the club clearly don't agree with that.

Support the club only when it suits, when we're winning then. Most of this season our bowling attack is almost entirely academy lads. We can't bowl teams out or defend any score in whiteball with an group who've barely played.

People piss and moan when academy lads don't get a chance, then when they do and we struggle they piss and moan again.

They've barely played because they were messed about during the T20 campaign (carrying drinks, pulled out of NEPL games, Bushnell batted at 7 for one of the couple of games he played yet Franklin said he picked the best side.... Again how demoralising must that be for a young player when we won 3/14??) I'll keep supporting the team, I'm here every home game but stand by everything I've said. If they can't get in this side (& many of them in the t20 side also), they really need to be considering their futures. The people in charge I don't think are good enough to develop this crop of players either. I have absolutely no issue with the academy lads "struggling". I do however have a problem with piss poor overseas and some senior players who are seemingly untouchable this season blocking the pathway for academy lads.
