Fair to say we've had the upper hand.

Scotty got his first first class century (101) after opening but only Stoneman (56), Muchall (71) and Breese (38) made double figures.

Debutant Ben Raine made 4 while batting, and respectable figures of 3-1-7-0 while bowling. Took 1 catch also.

I popped along this afternoon for the middle session. Unfortunately for Muchall none of the tailenders hung around long enough to let him make a century. I would have liked to see him try to hog the strike a bit more though.

The Sri Lankan openers looked in control just before tea when I left but having just checked the scores it looks like Durham are getting back into it.

Its definitely free entry to all days of this game and if the weather tomorrow is as ood as it was today you should be in for a good day. Should see the result aswell.

Oh, and I had a quick chat with Kyle Coetzer. Nice bloke, said he had a slight injury but hopes to be back in contention by 13th Aug.
