I think Robinson would be better placed to open.Lees may benefit from dropping down a couple of places in the batting order.
He was the weakest link today. Not for the first time.
He celebrated that like Watson scoring the winner at WembleyWorth watching the highlights for Parky's first wicket alone.
Foulkes is unrealI think Robinson would be better placed to open.
I'd even be tempted to put Bedders there when he's back and drop someone unfortunate in Neesham or Foulkes.
Totally agree. Knackers. The stewards really are jobsworths like. There was about 7 of them patrolling where the Derbyshire lads came out and were just going on like right prats. On their walkie talkies every 5 seconds, shutting the path every time someone comes out. They cleared the way for Micky Arthur of all people man! He’s not King Charles ffs. Rant over![]()
if you watching on youtube you can double tap the left side of screen to go back 10s at a time, or if on a computer use the arrow keys. Often have it on my phone to watch things again that happen live, wickets, catches etcNo replays on YouTube tonight, fielder signaled 6 himself.
Exactly my thinking. Lees isn't, and never has been, a T20 player so he should never have been made captain.I'm in two minds re Parkinson simply because I doubt if Drissell would be any better. The way he celebrated Guest's wicket suggested that he believes his place is under threat. Just wish he'd put a little thought into his bowling and vary it a little. McKinney needs to come in and Lees' place should be the most vulnerable.I would rest Lees from this format and I would drop Parky
Controversial but just my opinion
Always the case when they have the external lot in. Been happening for years, as I've said so many times on here. The club are aware and basically do nothing about it. Didn't go last night but glad we got the win.The stewards really are jobsworths like. There was about 7 of them patrolling where the Derbyshire lads came out and were just going on like right prats. Mrs RT and I and a good few others had just been given the eventual go ahead to enter the Co Durham Lower after waiting 5 mins when we were blocked again to give way for some old bloke. It's absolutely ludicrous. Rant over![]()
Fact is they haven't got any plans for the T20.So either extra rest for McKinney/Gay or neither in the plans for the T20
Oh I had words with one of them that were preventing access “ while the players come off”, this was behind the family stand where players crossed to the indoor net area etc. I accept their reasoning while there were actually players coming, there were however no players coming through the passage but they still insisted on blocking access, this was during the break between women’s and men’s games, when I asked why they couldn’t stand aside and let people cross when clearly there weren’t any players in sight I was greeted with, shall we say rank stubbornness and no common sense was used at all, just had to wait ten minutes or so longer for my cheap food and drinks ( another disgrace ).The stewards really are jobsworths like.
