Any deals on for tickets for Friday?
We're away to Leicestershire so @Hetty get looking in case OP means wanting to go the away game. @Inside Forward you around that way still?

Remaining home games for us are

Derbyshire Wed 11th June 630PM
Yorkshire Fri 20th June 630PM
Notts Fri 4th July 630PM
Warks Sun 6th July 230PM
Leics Tues 15th July 630PM
Northants Fri 18th July 630PM

Tickets for our games are £20 per game via website or £25 on the door.

However the ST deal for £35 still seems to work for anyone on forum still wanting to go to our games!

Good post. Ackermann for me has shown very little with the ball since signing and is dining out somewhat on the world record figures he took years ago.

Totally with you on the Aldridge point too, the amount of short-term loans coming into the club to cover, when we could pick someone already in the squad and someone home grown in most cases is worrying. He's a talented cricketer and you can manipulate the system, but it leaves me wondering why release Bushnell if we have to do this.
Ackermann can be useful at times especially in red ball when behind on the over rate and can take the odd wicket but I think he could do more. It's not much of a "vote of confidence" in Parkinson when he only bowled 2 overs yesterday and Campbell said Jennings/Wells don't score as heavy with spin, only for us to go with the Ackermann option ahead of Parkinson

The De Leede situation has shocked me. I've said on here many times, he's someone I rate and he should be in the team. Averages 25 with the bat for Durham in the T20 at a strike rate of 128 which is perfectly fine where he bats. His bowling in the T20 does need improving, however I believe it would and at international level with the white ball, has shown that could be improved on. I'd much rather we attempted to develop his white ball game at Durham domestically, than have some loanee in for a month from Somerset who is inexperienced (7 games in total in the T20 Blast). Just a very strange situation.

2nd xi play at 2.30pm, that might give us a slight indication of who is fit/who isn't fit. I know Coughlin played for Hetton at the weekend as did Hogg and McAlindon but the next "step up" would be to play for Durham to indicate fitness levels I guess.

Oh the Yorkshire game 20th is what I'm looking for. £35 is brilliant value

Well hopefully England have made him travel to Durham today!
They have but 2 Durham old boys in the squad. I would have kept both of them.

The opportunity to enjoy more Rehan Ahmed brilliance in a Leicestershire shirt will have to wait for two more games, as the all-rounder joins up with England’s IT20 squad for the three-match series against the West Indies.

18-year-old Alex Green rejoins the 14-strong squad in Ahmed’s absence.

Leicestershire Foxes: Budinger, Cox+, A Green, Hill, Kimber*, Masood, Patel, Salisbury, Scriven, Swindells,Trevaskis,Van Beek, Walker,Wood.

Very good we're not very good against decent spinners.

Trevaskis was a better batsman than he was a bowler in red ball and it was right to let him go.

He's not as good as Parkinson in white ball either.
