My incoming weather report is that it’s stopped raining 15 mins NE of the ground, very overcast though

Keep this out of a match thread please. I know the picture was posted but haway lets have an area where we can discuss cricket

Unfortunately this is discussing cricket. If the players wanted to do it in their personal life that would be separate. But these people are representing your team when they do it every match. Appeasement is all about tolerating this sort of thing until people are conditioned to it - same happened in the 1930s with other political gestures in sport. I'm not a member, if I was I'd turn it in after seeing this the first time just as I've boycotted Sky Sports, but I hope people who are members make their feelings clear that this isn't on and it has no place in cricket whether you support BLM or not. It's absurd.

I’m fairness to Marty Feldman I thought his accent there was pretty good

Horrific comparison.

A show of solidarity to people of colour versus a group of people who murdered people of colour simply for being ‘of colour’.

Unfortunately this is the CRICKET forum and this is a match thread. Let’s keep politics for the politics forum.

thats your view, it appears however that every sportsman playing cricket is perfectly happy to do this. Maybe it’s you who is absurd?

thats my last comment to you, by the way most of the people on here are long time posters who enjoy sport and know each other.

dont spoil it eh? Try and bring something to the actual game

Yes, better to keep it out of a cricket forum.

I'm happy for them to do it every match. they can do it in the car park, the changing rooms and their own front room. If you don't like it that's a shame. I've just got rid of skysports also - too expensive.

This lad should get himself to a club meeting and stand up and advise the players, one by one that they are absurd
