I would love to know the reason for this transformation in our fortunes.
got too many good players who were all out of form at the same time, scraped a win and confidence came back.

Do you not think it's too much of a coincidence that so many of our players lost their form at the same time and for so long? I suppose the bad weather didn't help very much earlier in the season but I have a gut feeling there is more to it than those 2 factors.

Yes it has to be more than a co-incidence that we started playing well when he took over. Makes you wonder why he wasn't given the job earlier.

Just back, what a great gusty win that was.
It puts to bed the ridiculous thoughts some had on here about age been the main issue. Thorp 5 wickets, Colly & Benks with a game winning top class partnership when we were in big trouble at 36/4.
Excellent win and a great change in form ever since the obvious changes were made.

Was all sorts going on, as I said a while back, Harmison is a bad apple in the squad, the captaincy issue was becoming a farce and form players like Richardson/Jennings deserved a chance.
Benks & Colly have played ever so well, top class today.
