Durham v Worcestershire : CC September 15

The only conclusion I can draw from this match is that the players / management already know we are safe from relegation and therefore have downed tools for the season….. how else can you explain away such an abjectly performance and the crazy decision making ?

And Ghafari is basically on trial to see if he should be offered a contract? I think we know the answer to that one unfortunately
The tremors were felt to such an extent in the Co Durham Lower that @mosi 's flask smashed.

It was a horrible day to watch
Nice day for the Worcester lads who filled their boots at a easy pedestrian rate
We couldn’t lose 20 wickets in one day or could we no matter what the odds are given the airy fairy attitude on display

It will be one to be talked about for years to come if we do.

It should be immediately obvious when we bat tomorrow whether the reorganisation has saved us. If we don’t go all out for max batting points from the start, we’ll draw our own conclusion.
Judging by Worcesters intentions today , they look as though they still want to be batting when the clocks go back in October.
October 2027?

Lees said something to the umpires as they were walking through the gate to go up the steps. I didn’t quite catch what he said but it didn’t seem to go down well.

Yeh,exactly why he's replaced Marty.More worryingly though,Thorpe is i/c of Parkview Cricket Academy and effectively replaced John Windows as lead of our Academy.
Proper happy clapper club puppet, little wonder he's got the role he has. He was embarrassing at the members forum when Bostock was caught out telling porkies. Never had much time for him, said that on here before, seems very arrogant. If he's the future of the club.....

Probably the only positive to come out of this game is that we go into a final day for the first time in ages knowing that we can’t lose……….or can we ?

Sadly our club as we knew it is finished under these Muppets.Tragic after Robson, Moffit, Caller et alia fought so hard to fulfil our dream

Bostock out 👌
Lbw? Or stumped? Perhaps obstructing the field would be a better fit.
Yes, if they beat Notts they’d need 8 points at Hampshire to secure the title.

Getting ahead of myself, but it would be interesting to see what sort of pitch Hampshire prepare if they need to win.
Hampshire fixing the pitch would be good! Hopefully they’d be docked another eight points which would suit us nicely!
