Congratulations to Haydon Mustard on signing with Murdoch University Melville Cricket Club for the 2025/26 Peel Cricket Association campaign. 🏏

The England U19 and Durham Cricket wicket-keeper batter will head to Western Australia, calling the Murdoch University Sports Oval home for the season.

A serious talent and definitely one to watch this winter. We’re backing Haydon to shine on Australian soil. 🔥

All the best for the season ahead, Haydon! 👏

At 139 for 4 , two new batters, season on the line, it was a chance, but partnership now developing yet again, can we just for once look threatening and actually bowl a blumen side out. Hope im wrong but I think I know the answer.

I'm sure our lads are trying their best but can't blame them that we have only a 2 prong bowling attack. Worcester not trying very hard to secure a win scoring at only 3 an over in a game that is already restricted.

Yorkshire and Hampshire up against it, not that we’re in a position to capitalise. Looks very much like we won’t even get maximum bowling points

Not sure why we got Ghafari in. Doesn't seem to be any better than what we already have.

I saw him play for Richmondshire and wasn't all that impressed with him.

Seems to be a case of bringing in an overseas player just for the sake of it and as he was already in the area probably came cheap.

Have migrated to the relative warmth of the County Stand, bit blustery, hope the change brings some wickets in the last session.

The players are clearly not up to scratch. We can blame North/Bostock/Campbell/Onions whatever (I uphold my belief that they’ve all regressed in my estimations this year) but the majority of our players should be playing better. Bar Lees’ runs, Clark & Raine, everyone’s had a very poor season. Conners has been a poor signing, as has Rhodes in the CC. The spin department needs a desperate upgrade. Above all, it’s been a very poor season and relegation is probably imminent.

Whoever sanctioned this Conners signing needs their head examined.

Average of 39 playing all of his career in Division 2. Maybe you’d say fair enough if he could hold a bat but the lad would probably bat 11 for Premier League teams.
