I still fancy us here.

they have a weak batting line up and I dont expect them to bat anywhere near as well 2nd time round

If we can make 520ish we will win

Yeah the wicket doesnt look to have a lot in it. Just a matter of keeping your head when in.

Also if the umpire had been looking at the pitch instead of where he was running in their innings we would have had them all out for 80 runs less.

I think your right, their good scores in the first couple of games have been based on double centuries from Chopra and Woakes scoring well down the order. I would definitley say it's a fragile batting attack still.

As you know, I hate to agree with you (;)), but if we're still batting this time tomorrow it's game on IMO.

171-1 at present. I'm going with the idea that Durham can win the game if still batting at Tea tomorrow.......

DiVa has picked up an injury according to the bloke on SSN.

He's batting with a runner and just showed a clip of him getting to his century and he did not look comfortable at all.

They reckon he's pulled his abductor muscle and can hardly move at the crease.

Stokes has just been put down at second slip.

Another poor day for Durham I'm afraid. Staring down the barrel unless Benkenstein and Blackwell can buck a trend and stop early wickets falling tomorrow morning.

Doesnt look good for MDV. The bloke could hardly move.

Just our luck, at this rate we'll be fielding our 2nd's in Championship games by June. Both openers crocked, 3 frontline bowlers, wicket keeper......

Should never have released Karl Turner

Another poor day, MBH. I am afraid you are accepting the same mediocrity that you are so outspoken about on PF.

Double standards.

There's not a more class-ridden and devisive CCC in England, I am afraid.

You will find this out if your lad ever has a county trial. Mark my words.

Class ridden? What do you mean by that?

I'm almost certain I said it was a poor day for Durham? Can someone confirm this please - post above?

I'm not sure what the lad means DCCC wise but I think its pretty well known that a lot of cricket players have had some association with the public schools system. Extends as far as the staff as well. It also seems to help if your Father played on the county circuit.

I think that a lot of back scratching goes on.

There has been a few lads who could have made the grade CC wise but their face didnt fit so they didnt make it.

Essex is rife with it, hence why Reece Topley (famous dad) got a run in the first team at 17
