South Northumberland CC have announced that they are hosting the Durham v Surrey Royal London fixture on 4th July.
Just checked the Durham CCC website/fixtures and it says the Riverside is hosting the game.
Is the tail wagging the dog here, OR,is South North the DOG ?

makes sense as Buble is on at the cricket ground on July 6th and Bryan Adams on the 5th

that said durham fixture list has this game listed for august.........
durham are at derbyshire the day before in the T20 and the T20 quarter finals are starting the day after.......

Does anyone what the craic is with seating at the South North games? Can you hire a chair or do you need to bring your own with you?

Would definitely agree with @GordonMuchallNo1Fan 's advice. Another thing to take into consideration is last season I got there early doors and managed to claim one of the benches on the Moor Road side of the ground. However they're set well back from the boundary so be prepared for a constant flow of spectators walking in front of you on their way to and from the portaloos which are all situated on that side.

Cheers, was just wondering as I think we are going into Newcastle for a few drinks afterwards. We will probably just take a cheap camp chair each.
