Durham v Students, Riverside 26-28th March

I very much doubt we see Stokes. Fingers crossed on Woody.

Wonder if he needs to keep playing albeit sparsely to stay match fit.

This was my view even before reading this.

Root playing division two glad we're out of there

"The veteran seamer may choose to limit appearances for Lancashire until May" - we just so happen to play them in May

Stokes has another job other than playing and a still further one resting his knee.
He will have had a few months of how much does he need he will need games before England next play anyway, also I was meaning England players in general

Would have been good if he’d been able to turn up for the Durham photoshoot. And btw I’m not having a go at him.

Please note Seat Unique Riverside is now a cashless venue for all transactions on site

Will be working tomorrow and Wednesday so no chance of me getting to the ground, but if there’s play worth watching on Thursday I should get down.

Seems like the season gets earlier and earlier every year, it’s fair to say that I’m not at all prepared for it starting - we’re only 11 days out from the Championship season opener - but nor does it appear are the usual media outlets. I imagine we’ll get the bulk of the season preview articles and shows by the middle of next week.

Anyone got any insider info on how the ground is holding up ahead of tomorrow? Rained pretty much all day today but looks dry from tomorrow morning
