Reliably informed that The Colonel will open with Coetzer tomorrow. MDV was due to bat at 4 but has back spasms that necessitate rest.

Not many down like. Just as well as the outside catering is gash. There's only one bar other than Austin open and that's a poxy trailer with a selection of two beers and its right next to Austin. The bar under the County Durham stand is shut an'arl. Good job the members bar is only £3.35 a pint of cider!

Don't know but with the amount of time it takes him to get in I'd much rather have him at 8 than 3. Takes pressure of the lads coming in after him. I'd stick Plunkett in his place when fit.
 
Good game, really enjoyed it although made it hard work in the end. Was impressed by Stokes, thought he played some cracking shots and Muchall stuck in well and a shame he didn't get 100.

Agreed, good game. We looked to be struggling at one point. Absolutely shit faced after the game.
 
Enoyed it yesterday down there. Red hot weather, good game and result. Bit daft not having a bar under the county stand open like. However, it meant I didnt have a drink and just got a can of pop from the ice cream van :lol:

Realised yesterday that I miss not having my membership.

I'll remember that for the Northants game. It'll save me some embarrassment having to be thrown out of Austins at 10.15pm!
