Should have aimed to declare now but didn't bat quickly enough. Only risking 3 points for the draw.

I'd try and get another 50 as quickly as possible and set them 280 from 30/35 overs.

f***ing no chance they would be tempted by that :-)

Like I said yesterday, all these target predictions seemed to assume run scoring would be easy
 
Declared. Notts need 272 off 59. Bold move but they've got no experience trotting out to open so I'd fancy them to be 2 down quick. That will rein in any ideas they have of winning.

I was wondering what's going on as the score on Sporting Life has been stuck on 167-3 for about half an hour. Cricinfo might as well be on Mars the way their server is running today.

If we get a couple more quick wickets I think I may head over to CLS to catch the end of this one. Anyone know if they let you in free at any stage of the last day?

Humid as fuck though (is in Boldon anyway) so hopefully there'll be some swing.

Marty says Colly is injured but didn't say what, so it wasn't tactical even though it worked out quite well.

Is this right?

Just had a drive past and was tempted, then thought that since its heading for a draw paying in probably isn't worth it.

However will happily pay that for upcoming games if I can get in for a few hours after work.
