Durham v Notts - LVCC

I'm not being a prick but I got savaged for pointing out priors glovework is (IMHO) shite and Blackwells batting was now pants. I didn't realise we all had to be england and DCCC happy clappers but there ya gan... I see this board is nee different to the other two in that some can't differentiate between what is fact and what is solely there own opinion.

I still can't help feeling that extra bowler would've done us the world of good today. Claydon has 9 overs for 46 which has meant Colly and Blackwell bowling 18 wicket-less overs between them. Hopefully Onions and Thorp can come back and clean this tail up.

Read reaches 103*. Decent effort after his side were 21-4.

7 down. Looks like we'll get a first innings lead. Hopefully the rain stays away for the next 2 days and we might have a chance of a win

What a pisser, leave the ground and they are 5 down, get home and they are 250-8

On the brightside it's the first time i have ever seen the same batsman play out hat trick balls in the same match .

Quality innings by him aswell btw

edit 261 all out, if it weren't for read and Voges they wouldn't of made 100, hope the weather is decent tomorrow then we will win...

Oh aye di venuto went off injured, muchall opening

Im sure someone is ready to fly at me and point out I'm a prick and i'm wrong etc but...

Chris Read seems to have got plenty of runs against Durham over the years... he's been a thorn in our side on a good few occasions.

Nice persecution complex

A bit of dampness in the air this morning in C-L-S, might be a tough morning for batting. Still I think we'll have enough if we make 250 in 2nd innings.....

Ideally it'll be a dry day, Durham will bat well for 2 sessions getting to perhaps 230-4 and then have a bash for an hour or so after Tea. Get to 310-6, declare and take 3 Notts wickets tonight, leaving them to try and survive tomorrow from 46-3. Not asking for much!

Yep, looks a potentially very difficult day for batting, with rain breaks

Tomorrow looks much better :-|

Raining now in Consett, looks like it is heading towards CLS.

Doubt we'll see much play today

Hopefully Liverpool is under water

Looking at the forecast Liverpool should be flooded atm, but dries up :-|

Was down there yesterday, canny day, anyhoo been racking my brains trying to think if there has ever been another time in first class cricket where 2 bowlers have been on a hat-trick at the same time.

Cunning stat, probably happened before, but you should send it to TMS
