I emailed Marty at the weekend and he said what he's saying now about not knowing/not asked. As for the criticisms/comments on the forum, the club most definitely are aware. Again I think this and social media comments forced the club into a hastily arranged forum on Tuesday night. Folk need to continue to air their comments/feedback as it's simply not good enough at present. I'll happily praise when it's due as I did with the One Day Cup last season. The club most definitely were forced into that communication on Tuesday night and what I said about North and Franklin seemed to be the view of the majority in attendance.

i think franklin will always be fighting a losing battle in terms of popularity with members because whilst the club can make all the right noises about the 16.4 franklin nashed off to go coach in it.
 
Fair play to Durhams batters today for toughing it out, taking some blows and hanging in there.
I love the 4 day stuff but this year its been horrible. With a bit of rain and us batting first you are already thinking on day one ... how the hell do we win this, we are a country mile off taking 20 wickets, so even 400 plus scores arent helping us.
We really need something from this 50 over cup.
Ive certainly had my fill of England call ups, reduced seams and flat pitches.
 
Been some brutal bowling this afternoon. Borthwick has batted very well. Bushnell currently 18 off 56 balls, doing well to take time out of the game. I expect handshakes soon though.
