Durham v Middlesex [A] C.C. 1/5/26

Roach unable to complete his over and going off the pitch with an injury, it's becoming a common theme with our overseas bowlers

Marty:
Kemar Roach missed last week's match against Lancashire because of a tight groin. After bowling 9.1 overs today he's taken his cap from the umpire and walked off. He appeared to be holding his groin again. Colin Ackermann has come on as a 12th man.

Dad's army. Laurie Mac would approve. Cody, Migael P and Fernando were fit and good.
I think this is the risk when signing bowlers in their late 30's. No issues with signing Roach, he's still a decent performer, but it isn't a huge surprise him and Wagner have suffered with injuries.
& Siddle, Boland.

Doggett and Neeham were just shit.

Difficult to sign reliable overseas. If they're up and coming their board will limit their appearances, established internationals will likely be at IPL or other Franchise which only leaves ex-Internationals.
Fortunately, with like for like substitutes,we can substitute one experienced international in Roach with another,

Stokes 😀
