Terrible batting in that last over. I’ve no idea why there’s this fascination with standing a foot outside of leg stump. Three balls would’ve been wides.

I’m pleased it wasn’t down to 2 runs because I’m sure we got a 6 the previous over but the lanky player signalled
A 4 which I think was naughty

You say that, but with that 6 correctly given we’d have still had a chance of that last ball. As it was, we needed 8.
 
Cracking effort but annoyed by that at the end. Fielding cost us runs, we got a couple of bad calls and we still got within a few of chasing 200. If we'd have played like that in the last 2 or 3 games we'd be through.

Hey ho, have change tram at Victoria, would be remiss not to jump off and have swift one.
 
Can there be retrospective disciplinary action based on video evidence against Lancs for the lad who deliberately signalled a 4 when it should clearly have been a 6
It was terrible to do that and most unsportsmanlike
 
Good effort that. Might have been a bit different if there had been no cheating and Gough did not want to appear biased. However it's all self inflicted as its our own shortcomings against the lower teams in the table that ultimately stop us from going through to the quarter-finals.

It was definitely a 6. Their commentators agreed too. I don’t mind the umpire taking a players word, but I do mind a player deliberately lying. At best he is unsure, in which case he should have said he didn’t know, at worst he’s a cheat
