Durham v Lancs (h) T20

All starts on Thursday weather permitting. Durham again look a bit short in the batting but in theory should have plenty of all rounders available. The bowling should be steady enough and hopefully there are certain players who did not get selected for the last championship match so they could continue their preparation for the T20. Not sure what is happening with Wood and if he is available. Also we have seen so little of Dickson batting i don't know if he is a blocker of an opening bat.
The team line up could be anything but I will take a punt at

I think based upon what we have seen so far, Dickson is a getting outer.

I think no test players were selected in the ODI squad so Wood should be available, but will be instructed by the ECB to play for Surrey.

You never know in today's world after spending 10 weeks in the England bubble mainly twiddling his thumbs Wood may need a break from cricket for his what's it referred to now wellbeing!

Joe Root making himself available for Yorkshire so surely Woody will do the same for Durham.

The funny thing is, you can go to the pub inside the ground and watch the stream, but not then walk ten yards into the empty stands.

Six front line seamers so one of them misses out at least. I can't see them playing both keepers. Looking at where Raine is named in the squad I wonder if they will use him as a pinch hitter in the top 3. Not sure where Dickson fits in .
I will go Potts Dickson and Ekersley to miss out.

I’ll have another look tomorrow. My eyes have gone now. Must admit I can’t remember the last time we beat the lancys up here in t20

i do remember the classic on sky when trevaskis bowled the last over and we won at old Trafford

Given the weather we've had the last couple of days I imagine the only streams will be on the outfield.:D

Seeing that we're not allowed in and taking in to account our abysmal home record in the T20 against Lancs (they even chose the venue for their QF 'home game' against Essex last season on account of their record here *) a no result will suit us fine.:lol:

*Ironically they lost.
