I think that when he was walking off he hit the bail with his bat and it went towards the Durham players which I think started the verbals. I don't think he was even looking at them but I assume it was for that.

Or it was for a slow over rate and I've totally misunderstood. But if it had been for a slow over rate I think they'd have adjusted between the innings rather than well into this innings.
 
Getting a win and a NRR boost would be really good for Durham's chances of making the quarters.

Northants winning & Birmingham Bears losing would also be good results elsewhere. May create a scenario where Durham get through despite a loss in their final game - certainly another win or washout would put them through if those results occurred. If the results gone the other way then Durham would probably get through with another win and superior NRR.
Amazing Lancashire's spinners took a collective 2-92 from 11 on this pitch. Ball's turning sideways.
