Durham v Lancashire - South North

Terrific win and fight back after a dodgy start. Noteworthy that had it rained at 32 overs we’d have lost on DLS but in the event went on to win by almost 100 runs! Particularly good games for Doneathy, Dickson and Salisbury. We’re back in contention in this competition. Can’t wait for the Essex game at home on Sunday. We owe them a beating!

It was a very good win by the lads with exceptional performances by Doneathy and Dickson
To be honest I would have been disappointed had Durham lost to a largely second string Lanky side
But they didn’t and compliments all round are due
Can they beat Essex on Sunday as they are not badly hit by the ‘100 nonsenses”?
I really hope so

Well apart from believing the weather forecast and bottling going a decent day for Durham against a weak Lancs.
Didn't see Durham's innings but good to see Doneathy score runs under pressure again and also Dickson getting a tun.
From the Durham bowling I have to say Ajax is growing in me. Trevaskis had a poorer day and Doneathy looks like he could be a really handy one day bowler in the Colly mould. It looks like the lad may have earned himself a contract.

Michael Richardson joined Marty on Comms this afternoon and was talking about his role at South North. I didn't realize that the corporate event at the indoor school has nothing to do with South North and is completely organised and run by Durham. South North make their money on the day by all the sales on the food and drink sold in the other parts of the ground and Durham pay a fee for use if the ground.
