They’ve replaced a spinning all rounder with a wicket keeper. I don’t think anyone actually knows what the rules are.

Hideous decision.

Potts and Parkinson deserve massive credit for that partnership, at the very least it gives us a chance of taking the game deep.

If we can bowl with good discipline tomorrow and keep their scoring rate down, something we couldn’t manage yesterday morning, it might cause Lancashire a problem around what they’re happy setting us to win and in how many overs - from what I’ve seen over the two days, this pitch is good for batting and if it follows the general theme of the last few years it should hold itself together.
