Durham v Kent (a) RL cup (50 over)

Not sure how Durham are going to approach this comp, will it be play strongest possible XI or use it as development of a bit if both.at a guess I would go
Lees
Bancroft
Borthwick
Bedingham
Clark
Dickson
Eckersley
Coughlin (if fit no idea)
Trevaskis
Campbell
Rushworth
One thing that stands out is we are very light in bowling even struggling to find the 6th bowler.

What's your team fellas?

For me I'd go with

Clark
Lees
Bedingham
Bancroft
Borthwick
Dickson or Jones
Eckersley
Trevaskis
Rushworth
Campbell
Salisbury

Fully expect to see the following at some stage with some of the listed below part of development and hope they're given a chance.

Poynter
Coughlin
Dennethy
Crawshaw
Gibson
Bushell
Mackintosh

Could always ask to get Richardson on a 1 day competition contract :)

Could go with Clark opening and Bancroft middle order.
If they re-sign Richardson or Pringle not sure they will fit in their old Durham gear. Teas must be good in the NEPL.

I think we’ll go as strong as we can in the main, but look to blood plenty of the younger lads a couple at a time as the tournament progresses.

Expect the lads who saw action in the T20 will feature again, possibly with one or two extras.

Not going to guess at the team but it’s come at a valuable time to get Lees back into form and fitness.

Really hope we do go strong, good chance to win it with all the top players involved in the hundred and/or the test series. Seems to level the playing field somewhat for us. So would like to see us go as strong as possible and hopefully we can do something

Have a go it's part of the fun. You can't be to far away we have only got 14 fit full time pros.

I heard at the Notts game that although Alan Walker is nominally in charge of the 50 over side in the absence of our wonderful Lead High Performance Coach its still Franklin calling the shots and picking the team so God only knows who will end up in the starting XI.:(

Perhaps if they are not going to play Rushy in one day cricket they could get him to do the updates on the Twitter feed to keep Durham's much valued members and casual fans informed about the start of a new competition and the squad they have taken down south. Full preview on the Kent Twitter feed.
Christ people slagging off the 💯 left right and centre yet our own county can't even be arsed to promote the competition they are about to start. Exactly the same as in the eve of the start of the championship in April.

The club is a shambles at the moment.

Very valid points. I think it was a recent championship game, we only announced team news less than an hour before the game.

It's one very valid criticism of the club, is the lack of updates.

Sick of seeing tweets about India, yet absolutely nothing about the game tomorrow.

Exactly the same as at any point of any season since 1992, always been horrific comms out of the club.
