Durham v Kent (A) C.C. 15/5/26

Survived to the lunch break so now there'll be two overs knocked off for the change of innings whenever that is.

our tail has done pretty well (yet again) batting thro' that extra half hour should make the draw big favourite

With Gay on international duty we really need Lees, Clark & Robinson to step up & fill the gap

53 needed to avoid the follow up, still a long way with the new ball nearly here. Just got to take it an over at a time, fingers crossed we can nick a third batting point.

Thought Potts shot was really nonsensical as he could have come out fresh after lunch and gone again.

2 home games coming up in the CC to hopefully help them re-find form.

Suspect we will line-up like the below depending on the pitch, conditions and fitness. Aldridge the floating man as surely we've signed our overseas seamer to play.

Lees
McKinney
Rhodes
Bedingham
Ackermann
Clark
Robinson
Raine/Aldridge
Potts/Aldridge
Olivier/Aldridge
Parky/Aldridge

I enjoy the radio commentary bits before play resumes when the mics are on but no-one is commentating. Always hope to hear someone effing and jeffing unaware they are on air.

I don’t think it’s going to rain at all.

Audio gone off the stream for anyone else?

Rain radar has plenty of blue in the next 30-60 mins. How accurate they are is another story.

I think we've done enough anyway. Kent would have had to have us all out in first hour I think to force the game towards a win for them.

Big appeal for lbw against Parky which was hitting all three, but the umpire shook his head immediately so he must think there was an inside edge.

50 partnership for the final wicket.

Parky survives another big lbw appeal, think that one was too high personally.

Parkinson has now faced more deliveries with the bat, and only 20 runs less than Robinson has managed this season who has had 3 more innings than our number 11 too
Damning that

Since he got looked over for England honours in July 2024 it's been like he's another player.

Hope he rediscovers his form as he was an excellent player and would have deserved a call-up
