Durham v Kent (A) C.C. 15/5/26

Makes me think of possibly one of Durhams greatest bowlers and coach.Alec Coxon. Was a magnificent coach.Do what l say or on your bike!Record for Durham.Overs.913.Maidens279Runs1885.Wickets127.Average14,4Good old days

Potts and Raine must have strong backs been brilliant all season if Oliver does not help those two will be knackered.

Seen enough of Aldridge to confirm what I thought in the summer good fielder promise with the bat but he's a 4/5 seamer don't see him improving to be a third seamer.

We must look for a better spinner than Parky he's great in T20 but not even average in 4 day cricket.

6-92 Brilliant figures from (Marley) Potts on this deck

Used to coach us at Ch le St on a Wednesday evening in the late 1970s.

I would have had my house on Emilio getting a duck opening after called up to open for England

Big chance for Rhodes to come in bat his position and keep it. Especially if we hope Emilio nails down his England spot all summer.
