Durham v Essex

I'll volunteer as 12th man for posting the match thread for AWOL Brandon.
Poytner dropped ,replaced by Jones or Trevaskis and Salisbury or Potts replacing Wood.
Be a seamer's paradise presumably given the rain.

Definitely looks a stronger team with Eckersley taking the gloves and leaving a position open for Jones or my choice would be Trevaskis. As for Woods replacement Salisbury has been reliable this season when he has played and the unlucky one to be left out for Woody but personally I would like to see Potts get a game but not to fussed either way.

Wherever you’re watching your cricket over the next few days, have a fantastic time. Cherish it
Just arriving at OT and feeling a bit “emosh” as the kids would say. God knows what I’ll be like when I get to Headingley next week!

After 645 days away since my last attended game.... Today I am heading to Chester le Street to watch Durham Cricket & I can't wait to watch the lads & have a good bit craic with folk I haven't seen since. Excited is an understatement. Haway the lads

I'd just like to apologise to everyone in advance - i have tomorrow off work and have been looking forward to this for ages so it's guaranteed to bucket down all day. or more likely worse still, be an off and on day, good enough i drive through to CLS but bad enough there's a handful of overs all day spaced out by hours at a time...

In the ground now and in The Trapdoor @Twisted

Already spotted The Magistrate moaning .
Just had a walk round the ground and seen a face from the past - Tim Wellock setting up a stall outside the club shop selling s new book.

Decent crowd beginning to assemble for 10.15.
