Last round of fixtures in the Durham Senior League 2day sad day for a league that has been going for over a 100 years but every1 has to move on

Nice day for it. Was talking it a few people from whitburn a few weeks ago. Dont think they will be too upset about no having to deal with one or two other DSL clubs, at least at league and commitee level. Played junior and senior cricket in 90s and it was great - some cracking grounds. Always loved CLS, sunderland, burnmoor and durham city tho hordon was a shit tip
 
The DSL brought it on themselves and few have any sympathy for them. If they had stuck to the pyramid system instead of pandering to Durham City they would still be in existence.

Shame really but thats what happens when you become arrogant and try to take on the system.
