This week. Action begins today with a Second Eleven Trophy (40 overs) game, starting at NOON.

Then tomorrow, a Second Eleven Championship (3 day) game begins (11am).

Entry is free across the four days if anyone fancies a look down. The bar will be open from Noon every day and there will also be an assortment of sandwiches, snacks and cakes available to buy for the hungry lot :-

Get yourself a look down if you're not busy, just a shame it wasn't last week when the kids were off really!

Did anyone manage to get down?

I saw most of the Durham innings and from what I saw it was mainly bad shot selection. Some of which was f***ing ludicrous shot selection! I think the 7th and 8th wicket batsmen both were caught at mid-wicket trying to swipe across the line. One lad was bowled around his legs sweeping and the worst was one lad who made a horrendous attempt to pull a ball which wasn't short enough and which he nearly connected with on the second 360 spin he did before the ball clipped the top of his leg stump

It all made for a quite exciting game though! Very tense while Durham were batting. We're some very positive comments from a lot of the players and coaches about the hospitality received. Billy Root had some class banter with a mate of mine about football - his mothers a mag .

Anyway, 3 day game starts at 11am tomorrow. Bar open from noon, sandwiches and snacks available all day from the white marquee 8-)

On Durham twitter feed gave Durhams score and said Turner had made 63 opening the batting for the seconds. Does anyone know if this is Karl.

Yes it's Karl Turner, I spoke to his dad at the game yesterday and he was telling me that Karl got a call off Jon Lewis yesterday morning asking if he could play as they were one short.
