Durham Second XI 2026

bleClark to keep and get a proper batter in? Notwithstanding the 'play if fit' clause if true.
Robinson left Kent because both Cox and Billings were preferred as wicketkeepers. I suspect that he was given assurances that he'd be "1st choice wk,if fit" but I doubt that was given regardless of form. I doubt that North would be that gullible.

Another double header this Tuesday think we will go down for this. Was the members lounge open for the last one? Thanks in advance

I've read this from a few sources. It's supposedly why Mackintosh packed in cricket. Notice how Haydon Mustard has given up the gloves and focused on his batting to try and get into the first team. Nobody is taking the gloves unless Ollie gets crocked.

Borthwick was signed on condition of captaincy, that's canon. Lees supposedly also renewed contract on condition of captaincy. (He was the most likely candidate anyway).

Robinson had a great game last night so hopefully that will boost his confidence in all formats. He's superb when in form but a confidence player.
