Durham players playing for NEPL teams.

How does this work then?

Do players have a choice on the players they go for (do Durham release a list for example) or do Durham decide who plays where?

And who pays wages - the club or Durham?

I think it's a case of the clubs getting in touch with players and then negotiating something. Nobody is forced to go somewhere they don't want to. That's about as much as I know. No idea on wages.

One other thing that I did find interesting or rather puzzling is that Ruel Brathwaite is considered Brandon's overseas player...... Despite playing for Durham as an Englishman.

The club will generally pay a match fee to the player for each appearance.

I may be wrong, but in terms of Brathwaite and Jennings I was under the impression they were kolpak players rather than having british passports. Thats why they were classed as overseas due to the different rules in the NEPL.
