Very proud, this season (and the last 6 weeks in particular) have been a pleasure to watch. Excellent set of lads who give their all for each other. Still cant believe we did it.

This Northumbrian ;) is very proud!

Managed to get down for the last half hour. Great scenes, probably a greater achievement than the first title (although I was definately less drunk yesterday than the first title). Well done lads.

If you fancy a laugh -

Some Yorkshire delusion. It must also be said that the majority seem like decent lads who talk sense.

Mostly they are all sound, as are cricket fans in general

Just a bit gutted. I remember yorkie mate texting me back in July 'if we win this it's all over' can't remember which game. They drew

Tbf at the time they looked the strongest side

Surely superior batsmen would learn to play to the conditions and outscore us? no?

Of course. I find it hilarious reading all the comments on the Yorkie forum and the ones on the Beeb website from fans of all counties, not just Yorkies - who for some reason or another think its so unfair that we have pitches that create results.

What people forget to realise is that both teams play on the same pitch......

the 2nd best team in the league beat us at CLS, if I recall correctly

If indeed this is the case then why when we travel to other teams not prepare pitches for their own players and negate ours? We have won nearly as many away as we have at home this season. It's all a myth isnt it?

Surrey prepared a turning pitch at The Oval for our visit but our young'uns out bowled Batty and Keedy.

Aye, but fuck it, we don't need to justify ourselves. Let the haters hate. Unlucky for some, not for us....... Durham - 2013 County Champions!

Rogers looking good for middx, be funny if the yorkies finished 3rd

Had to mention this but is anyone watching the YB40 Final? They're doing a bit on the Glamorgan side and they were pn about the Welsh lads, the numpty narrating just said 'nowadays, you can't just rely on local talent alone......'

Next they'll be saying you can't win anything with kids and that Durham will be relegated

the numpty narrating being robert croft, it's likely the VT was filmed a while ago.

Like the comment whereby durham and yorkshire were congratulated along with lancs for finishing tenth
