Is the scaffold sheeting removed yet? It makes a rare difference to the view.
Was in there yesterday ( Wednesday) expecting a bit of a preview but there’s still shuttering all over the place , never mind it’s always an experience even if you’re nit religious!

Yes it's been off a while and the scaffold is mostly down. The hoist and lift hasn't been taken down yet and they were still doing roof work today so they're cutting it fine for June 1st. Still they've only had three and a half years.

I used to drink in the centre of Durham, mainly in The Dun Cow and the Victoria, but sometimes in the Half Moon and the Colpitts.

Never been up since I was a kid and been meaning to put that right for quite some time. Looks like this summer's the one.
I don't even think that should be said in jest.
Walk past it every day and barely notice it. Goes to show you can take things for granted. I’ll be going up the tower at some point.
