It feels T20 takes priority over championship at Durham even a practice match gets the better pitches.I'm not used to the wicket being over to the Don Robson side mind.
55/0 off 5 overs.
115/2 off 10 Bancroft 47*
The Colonel is one of the umpires -I bet he'd like a go batting today.
Very true - mind you it didnt stop Dickson failing again. It feels T20 takes priority over championship at Durham even a practice match gets the better pitches.
I'm assuming they're prioritising those who haven't played T20 this season. Clark and Trevaskis will surely be in the final selection. One wonders if they intend to play a different team for the next game today or mix it up tomorrow. No Stokes is a tad surprising and I'd have expected Clark to be involved
196/9 - I think the plan was to play the 2nd XI for the second game today but having watched that innings I would conclude that Dickson, Coughlin Burnham and Borthwick need as much batting practice as possible.
Durham win by 51 runs.
Borthwick and Raine both on hat tricks next time they bowl.
Edit- Only change for the second game is Clark in for Campbell.
And Bedingham keeping wicket. And Trevaskis for Burnham
Noticeably quieter in the field...Thank God.And Trevaskis for Burnham
Eckersley.Notice Bedingham keeping wicket in 2nd match. Who was keeper in the first game?
