From what I've seen of him today I can see how he got nowhere near the First XI.

Will likely be shot down but Bushnell could be an outsider for the Slap and Tickle.Similar to Scott Steel making the most of his initial opportunities

Thoroughly enjoyed watching the two games today in the sunshine and we did well to win the second game against what was a fairly experienced Derbyshire side.

What did I learn today
Clark can strike a ball and can get you twenty or thirty but rarely presses on
We know why Salisbury was dropped
Bushell looked a tidy player and got 50 in both games
Poynter isn’t very good( his strike rate in second game was poor and as soon as he tried to strike the ball with real purpose he shovelled it to a fielder
We don’t have a great depth in batting or bowling and If Dickson is the answer it must be a trick question
It was a very nice sunshine time
