Hoping to get down there for it all tbh, on a course tomorrow but expect it will be done and dusted by about 10.30 so might get there in good enough time to see it all. Looking forward to seeing Onions bowl, imagine there'll be one or to other known names involved too.
 

I might make it for some of the game. I'm sure that the likes of Smith will play as well plus whoever didnt travel to Hampshire. Seems as though Onions might make his first team bow v Sussex.
 
Just arrived, Durham batting - 96-1 from 23 overs. Opener is on 60 and Smith is 21 batting at 3. Giive me time to work out who's playing and who isn't and I'll get more info!

Correction. Smith was the man on 60, now out for 62. Bowled around his legs. Batsman at other end falls 3 balls later for 21. 102-3, Ben Harmison in at 4. Gareth Breese in at 5. Beautiful day, welcome to the summer!

Edit - 130-3 from 33 overs. Durham's inability to play spin stretches to the 2nd Team too it seems :lol:
 
Oh I'm in my element here Twisted, I tried to persuade the Live Match Chat to let me lose on their laptop but ithey decided against it.

Durham 192-3 off 42. Breese 52*, Benjani 38*.

Putting their feet down now. 250 a real possibility.

263-4 off 46. 300 now a possibility! Benjani out for 86 caught after mis-cueing a straight-drive after scoring 20 off the first 4 balls of the 46th over. Breese 70*. New batsman unknown.
 
nice to see some of the boys in fine form, smudge, breesy, no idea who this benjani lad is, he a youngster?
 
Aye, his brother is Steve Harmison, used to be a half decent bowler in the day.

Durham 301-5 from their 50 overs.
 
Uni were 152-5 after 32 when I came away. Onions took a wicket early as did Harrison as we reduced the students to 18-2. Luc Durandt looks a decent bat for the Uni hitting 60 odd. Ben Harmison hadn't bowled while I was there. Wonder if there's any injury worry with him?
 
DCCC won by 57 runs. I was down for a bit at lunch time and promptly left and missed all of the run fest. Good too see that Onions was the pick of the bowlers. It might be just pre season optimism but I'm thinking this could be a good season for the lads.

Here's hoping.
