Durham 2025 season (PREDICTIONS ONLY)

Expect little in the Blast again as we've not brought in anyone to improve us in that format, but no reason we can't have good seasons in the CC and 50 over cup. A batting line up including Lees, McKinney, Bedders, Robinson, Gay, Rhodes will be as strong as any, it will just depend on which bowlers can have breakthrough seasons in the expected absence of Potts and Carse.

Told you all we'd do nowt in the Blast

Well a few very optimistic shouts including my own in March. A few people got 2 right mostly including Raine who is probably the only player who can say he played well this season.
So I think instead I will just say "what a crap season especially the championship"

Shows how far off most people's expectations that shitshow of a season was. It genuinely looked like we had improved the squad, but the team as a whole performed well below their capabilities and that points to the coach and captain.
It points to the person who appointed the coach and the captain together with player recruitment.

Bowling signings were shit but Gay and Rhodes were top signings on paper and North didn't make Potts and the spinners have a poor season. Nor did he make Robinson and Ackerman forget how to bat.

Yes, and bowling was clearly the area that needed stengthening and both seam and spin bowling recruitment have been consistently very poor under North's tenure.
North's responsible for recruitment in all areas of cricket. The buck stops at him.
