SAFCDCCC knows the craic and he reckons they are keen to stick with Jennings at three.

That's the impression I've got from Cook at the last members talk in. He praised Stoneman and thinks he'll become a "fine cricketer" so can't imagine them moving him.

Vast majority of people I speak to at the ground, all say the same thing about needing an opener for next season

Time will tell.

We have good seam bowling galore and a fair share of allrounders.

What i'd really like to see is an overseas batsman (top 3) to be available all season long... balls to this T20 specialist shite.

Gordon Muchall, Will Smith & Liam Plunkett simply arent good enough so we could do with moving these on and freeing up the wages to bring in another good quality batsman.

Added to this it's blatantly obvious Harmison & Blackwell have no future at DCCC due to off the field reasons, we need shot of these as they are huge earners.

Rocky has won his spot with a fantastic year with the bat - comparative to how poor batting has been this year ;-)

I think smith is a good cricketer but not convincing as an opener so it makes sense to me to shift him to 3 and open with jennings- as he did for the 2nds iirc?

Still if cook disagrees im happy to acquiesce
