Durham’s New Signing

Delighted with that. Who does he replace? Siddle?
My question too. Covering for Siddle or Potts?

Maybe also an indicator of not too much strength is depth. Given we're not going to win the league are there no young'uns who would benefit from playing?

Happy with Wagner, just wondering about the situation with home-growns,

Yep - well, Coughlin always a moment away from being injured, but it does suggest they don't think MacAlindon, Gibson, Killeen and the young Minto wil be making sustained contributions in a proper challenge for the 50 over comp (which Durham should be competitive in).

Young bowlers can learn a lot from people like Wagner. Talking to them as well as watching them in the nets and in a game.
An experienced player can also tell you the bits that Coaches don't. How to get through a season !

Likewise with batters.I'm convinced that Borthwick and Stoneman's development was helped considerably by being at the other end to DiVenuto. Watch and ask.
