Drawn at home to Mags in FA Cup

If we can get Allesse (or Cirkin) fit we can play one of them, Ekwah, Jobe, Ballard and Mayenda. That's 5 outfielders who are 6 foot plus.

Since Ekwah came into the side (even though he isn't the most physical) bar Luton away (when we were missing Alesse, Cirkin, Ballard and Batth) we haven't really been bullied like we used to.
Is mayenda 6 ft? Looks small to me
Gate receipts split equally, you lot will help our revenue streams.
?

On par with Arsenal for the price of a season ticket, tourists and day trippers galore roll in.

Your average working class mag punter who has had a season ticket on the Gallowgate/Leazes for 40 odd years will be priced out. A good few already have been.
This is why I think there's an opportunity for SAFC in mixed areas to gain more support, as long as we are reasonably entertaining and worth watching. Tickets for newcastle are gonna be hard to get for local kids wanting to see live football.

I don’t understand them, one minute they’re saying it’s just like any other game but then the next they’re saying how much it means to them and the city.

So are we just championship fodder or are we in their heads rent free? I can’t figure it out.

Totally agreed.

Club need to start targeting schools for ticket incentives / activities in the areas outside of the immediate Sunderland City boundary over the next few years.

Club did this really well up until about 10 or so years ago, need to start it again.

All of the above I can see happening aye, but I can very much see them building and moving to a soulless new stadium somewhere like Longbenton.

Like fuck.

I already live 6 doors from their training ground, not getting match day traffic parking on my street.

I agree that land is extensive and about to be sold the infrastructure couldn’t cope - imagine South Gosforth roundabouts after the boos had rang out.

Kingston Park or Great Park would be my bet.

Trust me they would sooner lose against Milan than Sunderland in the FA Cup...no argument

Do they really want to risk a full first team and injuries that could derail champions league qualification. Nufc need a won against us but it will come at a price.

I also think our players now will put a shift in to be part of starting 11

I'm really not expecting to win this one, probably be tight first half but we will run out of steam in the 2nd half and lose 0-2 or 0-3 .........BUT I hope we snap and injure a good few of their players in the process.

I'm more worried about them injuring our players - they seem to have a habit of leaving the foot in, throwing the odd elbow, etc. but, for some reason, VAR turns a blind eye.

Our players mostly won’t care and the ones who do like Onien will work against them
