Drawn at home to Mags in FA Cup

Sorry for a new thread but thought I’d keep this for predictions only.

For me,

0-2. We put up a good fight but unfortunately not strong enough. I also think there’ll be 8 yellows and one red each for both teams. Ballard for us, Joelinton for them.
Any defeat by less than three is a moral victory for us Vs Saudi Arabia United.

It’s not a level playing field anymore. They can afford to have £60m signings sitting in gambling anonymous meetings whilst they next £50m signing takes his place.

We’ll give it a go and see where it gets us. 99% of the world things we’ll get beat. Time will tell.

Massive gulf in the teams but there was in 96 when they had Shearer, Ferdinand Ginola etc. They’ll win but I think it’ll be similar and be tighter than expected. It’s a free hit for us.

If I'm being honest it's difficult without some intervention from the footballing gods for us to win. They are a top 6 PL side , and although they will delight in beating 'the mackems' it won't be a massive achievement given what they have spent compared to us.

1 v 3. Hopefully we compete.

1-6 and the beginning of the end of any attempts at keeping the rivalry friendly. They will be incapable of winning graciously and its going to really fuel the fire.

let’s read out the 2 teams, and we’ll start with Newcastle…
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Could be worse could be played at Snake Mountain with VAR … Now watch the hopeless officials give them something VAR would’ve ruled out 🙄
Even rivalry aside, Sunderland beating this Newcastle team would be one of the biggest upsets in English football over the last decade. One of the great fa cup upsets.

This newcastle team are a great side, and will probably finish 4th again.

Sunderland have some good players including Clarke who can cause problems, but it will need a major performance from SAFC to pull off a giant killing.
League One Sheffield Wednesday beat them last season you absolute wankspanner and that wasn’t anywhere near one of the biggest upsets in past 10yr

One of their Bralizians gets sent off after getting wound up by the crowd early.
2-0 (Clarke, Bellingham)
Tindall gets hit by a hot pie , Tony just looks at him with a wry grin

The gap between where we are and where the mags are is as big as it’s ever been. I’m expecting a defeat for sure and that’s not being negative but realistic. I just hope it isn’t a really sickening one and that the lads can put in a great effort.

Dreamt we went 2-0 up last night, the 2nd one was a raker from 25 yards, ball nestled in the top corner, it was a green ball and I was in the West stand for some reason.

Raker was in the south stand, never saw the first goal.

Issue was when I was celebrating saw loads of physios on to tend to one of our players.

Then I woke up, no idea how it finished.

Looking forward to that bit.

We need to make sure the atmosphere is as hostile as possible from the moment they get off their bus.
