Drawn at home to Mags in FA Cup

Ffs man, didn’t realise he was the new incarnation of Superman 🤣🤣

you’ve given us the blueprint with a hardworking and committed performance v PSG away from home. Get the same luck you did bar the penalty decision and we’ll be fine.

He is compared to Luke O’Neen. Let’s be honest.

Thing is, in order to do that, you need to play at the same tempo as these top midfielders do. The difference in pace between the 2 leagues is mental at the minute. He’ll do well to keep up with them never mind bother them.

f***ing hell man. Aye, we’re going to struggle to keep up with the tempo of the Brazilian Zidane marra.

I meant at corners and shit anyway tbf.

Even rivalry aside, Sunderland beating this Newcastle team would be one of the biggest upsets in English football over the last decade. One of the great fa cup upsets.

This newcastle team are a great side, and will probably finish 4th again.

Sunderland have some good players including Clarke who can cause problems, but it will need a major performance from SAFC to pull off a giant killing.

Didnt leeds win at old trafford with the likes of beckford while being league one? . I argue that was a much bigger upset granted it was more than 10 years back i think, still it shows things can happen.

Allowing this dodgy takeover was real sliding doors moment for newcastle, they were adrift at the bottom of the premier league they they takeover happened then spent 150 million in january to keep them up. I'd wager they would have been slogging it out in the championship with the likes of us now.

My mate just texted me, he drinks with the producer of Look North. They've already decided to open their report on the draw with "Newcastle were drawn away to championship Sunderland".
Gonna be a few angry folk on here tomorrow evening

multi million pound signing better than a signing from Wycombe, of course he’s better.

As I said the blueprint of an underdog is well written and has been by yourselves in the last week or so…… nothing to lose and everything to gain

He'll be targeted for that very reason. The weak link in that sense.

I’d imagine it might be the other way around. I can see our midfield getting in first and taking our physical approach to your midfield and seeing how they react.
Don’t know if you saw it last night but look at the way Bruno and Jolinton bossed Fernandes and Mctomminay last night.
Likewise they did against Chelsea the week before.
If they do the same to your midfield, it’ll be an unbelievable achievement from you if you can match that.

They won’t take this that lightly. Probably silly saudi win bonuses on offer and the fact they are a far superior team means we will get humped. I can’t understand why our fans are happy playing em. It’s never a free hit playing em
I'm not happy about it, but it's drawn now and we need to man up. Get the Cauldron of Hate on the boil and make it as unpleasant as possible for the lot of them, give Howe and that greasy c**t Tindall dog's abuse for the 90 for starters.

Fuck the daft c*nts

The more they build themselves up the more it plays into our hands.

If I was them I'd be pretending it's not a big game and saying how the league, Europe and league cup games are more important etc..

He’s a mag basically. Came on pretending to be SAFC, then pretending to be Leeds, then there’s this:
🤣🤣

Is he the lad that pretended he was dutch as well?

1956 since we last played each other in the FA Cup. 6th round, we won 2-0 away. They were the holders. Bill Holden got both our goals. We wore red shirts with white sleeves, like Arsenal. Jackie Milburn played for them that day. We lost 3-0 in the semis to Birmingham at Hillsborough, who went on to lose 3-1 to Man City in the infamous Bert Trautmann final.

Here we go. Actual footage.
