Drawn at home to Mags in FA Cup

Ha no pun intended !
Actually that’s a good point, it’s been a long time since that ‘derby feeling’ so getting it out of the blue was weird
At least when we were in same league you knew it was coming on fixture day but this was pretty much out of the blue.
Must admit, I've got the butterflies in my stomach already and whilst generally I hate this feeling, I've realised that I've also kind of missed it. Games against boro just can't get close to replicating it. Wish we had more reason to believe we'd win it mind, but it is what it is and we'll give it a f***ing good go. I was confident before we lost 5-1 so maybe a lack of confidence won't be a bad thing!

Maybe when the owners see the atmosphere before the game they might think we want more of this, invest in January and we end up promoted? wishful thinking eh...

The big difference for me is even in the past when yous were chasing for the title I always felt we weren't a million miles away and could have got a result and as the Head to Head results show its always been an even derby, this time the gap is absolutely f***ing massive of course we have a punchers chance but I think we all know the result

Just said above, it’s been so long since we’ve played each other whilst in separate leagues and the gap is massive.
If we play say how we did last night, with the best will in the world SAFC can’t compete with that, but……stranger things have happened.
I’d gladly have avoided this draw if had the chance.
I do to. There'll be opportunities for us to attack space and we are actually good at that. We won't be expected to have loads of possession and to try and break them down.

We just need to learn how to defend corners and crosses and sit in and leave them no space.

I think they will massively under estimate us too. All this talk of them wanting a hammering etc... Stupid c#nts

The fans may underestimate you, no way Howe and the players will.
Condescending f***ing headchopping, gay hating endorsing prick. You will all get yours at some point and it will be marvellous.

Not of you I won’t you absolute no-mark.

Aye but fans demanding/expecting a 4-0 walk in the park are going to put a lot of unnecessary pressure on your players.

Yous, like us, relish being the under dog.

I really enjoyed last season, and again enjoying this one. Truth be told this is the last thing I need. Yes we’re red hot favourites and there’s a chance of a resounding victory, but sorry like, give me Bournemouth at home any day of the week !!

If we play to the very best of our ability and hammer you, it would kill your season. Them young kids being schooled at home in front of a full house would destroy their careers. Probs end up at Nissan or somewhere come end of the season.
Sleepless nights for them in the run up to the game knowing that’s around the corner…
f***ing good grief. These young lafs are fearless man. They get humped often, many times in front of 45k +. They just go again. ALL the pressure is on yoy fuckers, believe me. Ill be disappointed if Luke doesnt flatten at least 3 of yas.

I’d like to think the vast majority of seasoned pros aren’t pressurised by your average fan in the street.
They’ll play the game, not the occasion I’d expect.

Who’s Luke ??
f***ing giant killing man

Newcastle have achieved absolutely fuck all yet man so settle down a bit will you.

That’s what it’s generally billed as when lower league teams play top teams.
I didn’t make the term up.

They are absolutely full of it. Embarrassing wankers. Won fuck all and beyond even Man City arrogance.

I mean they will be huge favourites but they go on like they are worlds apart. They lost to Bournemouth a few weeks back. They lost to Sheffield Wednesday of league one at the same stage last season with a squad not too different to this season. Theyve gotten so far ahead of themselves it's beyond belief.
