Mags are away to Liverpool the week before and home to Man City the week after

Thye could also have a league cup semi close to the game as well (hope they don't). They will have been looking at the FA Cup 3rd round and hoping for a game where they could make a full team change. I don't see them being able to do that v us, so that is good as it could damage their season.

Sell out on TV as well so a nice financial boost for us and a massive opportunity for some of our young players to test themselves against a team funded by murdering terrorists. If we lose then we were league one recently and they have spent half a billion quid.

I am still in shock!!

I was weirdly in mag country when the news broke. I was at the Metro Centre with my lass trying to get something special for my dad that is Newcastle themed but from the olden days. I wanted to try and get a replica of a 1969 Fairs Cup jersey as it is his time. His era. But I could not find anything. I have just settled for a 27cm x 21cm signed photo of the team from Amazon. As I was driving back the riverside route my lass was on her phone and she told me about the draw.

I came home straight away to put in for that Saturday. There is no way I am missing that weekend. Of course if it is on the Sunday then I am fine.

Personally I’m delighted. My lads too young to ever go on a derby and he’s buzzing.
Nothing to lose. Loads of cash through the door. Guaranteed on telly too.
We’ve got enough local lads in the side to make sure the team know how much this means.
Not saying we’ll beat them but I fully expect a decent effort.
