I know you say you don’t believe it, but some people genuinely view your club differently now. I’m not going to be able to convince you of that as you’ve said you think people aren’t being truthful. But it is true and something it would probably help to accept, if you can. It will make the world easier to understand, rather than being surprised or confused about some fans’ reactions

Its hardly getting excuses in tbf. It's discussing the match on our own forum. We're playing a CL team, when we're currently getting 1 point from Millwall, Plymouth and Huddersfield, of course people are going to say they're anxious about the gap in quality. If we were all saying "mint, we're going to fuck these all over" you'd be posting about how unrealistic we are. Talking about it here is massively different to match day though. I expect we'll lose, if I had to bet my house on it I'd say we'd lose, but on the day I'll have a good few drinks and be in there making a noise, believing it might be our day, and roaring the lads on. You'd be exactly the same if roles were reversed
