Drawn at home to Mags in FA Cup

What would be the appropriate reaction from Sunderland fans according to you then? Because if we were confident you can guarantee Newcastle fans would be laughing as us for being deluded.

Should be a sleeves rolled up, into them and give them a game. Get the atmosphere rocking etc.
This attitude of, ah well we’re going to get hammered so no pressure is alarming.

The pressure is on not to embarrass yourselves at home, in a cup derby in front of 40k against a far superior side.
That’s huge pressure.
Playing a Man City, Liverpool then maybe, but the fact it’s us puts massive pressure on to at least give us a game.
The fact that you are far superior takes the pressure of, thats the point. If we were in the Premier league there would be expectation. We know where are are.

We dont want to get hammered, but we accept it is the likely outcome.

Oh cyril, you're not mad, you're just a needy worm. You must hate yourself coming on here and posting inane formulaic shite, but you can't help it, what does it give you? Apart from an infantile excitement?
Status and recognition I would imagine, Flavonoids. In the real world madcyril may walk the streets hidden in plain sight; but here he is a someone..a platform which offers identity & purpose.

Seem to remember the game against sheff wed ya smug kernt ,how did that pan out eh !!;

Every single mag on here and social media instantly forgot about the fact that Newcastle were top 4 last season, in the CL, remain in all cups and currently climbing this seasons league all because of what really matters to them is that they use £350,000,000 worth of players to finally beat a club they continually call irrelevant to them.
They were singing about us last night v Man Utd 😂

I and other have said multiple times, we hope to have a go, but we will understand if we get destroyed. We dont want that to happen but if it does it will be understandable.
He’s thick man. An argument nobody on here is gonna win. He’s just giddy as fuck that for the first time in over a decade they stand a chance but he’s not willing to admit exactly why they are overwhelming favourites.

The fishing from the mags on here is embarrassing. Desperate to get a cheap quote to run off to their forum with

They’re in the CL, they are fighting for top 4, they have a great chance at getting a trophy in the coming years

But we are still their world :lol:
Whole article on this thread, on "The Mag" already.

Do I win anything for getting quoted on there twice in a matter of months? They quoted my post from Molineux Mix too

Don’t be so smug, you were just a bang average club until you were taken over by a murderous regime. It could have been any club, you lot just got ‘lucky’ with regards to access to unlimited money.

Clubs have spent a lot more and not as good. Like I say, you can’t buy team spirit, commitment, work rate and attitude.
We saw a prime example of that last night.

You would say that though, Newcastle by selling out to a muderous regime will have tarnished a decent rivalry forever in a lot of peoples eyes. I wouldn’t expect the average mag to have the self awareness to consider this.
Been saying to the mags at work for ages now (canny lads when not talking about football) that I don't see the rivalry as it was. Totally different club in my eyes now. Still would adore knocking them out as unrealistic as it maybe like.

You’re right. I am bricking it, but I’ll admit it. I’m gutted Saudi Arabia are likely gonna give us a good hiding.

A once proud supporter giddy that you have your best chance in years against little old irrelevant Sunderland and all you had to do was beg Saudi Arabia to franchise your working class club and sign £350,000,000 worth of players to stand that chance of beating Sunderland for the first time in over a decade.

Getting the excuses in early is something I thought I’d never see.
It seems the once respected SAFC support died with our takeover. Shame.

Not that unrealistic. Form goes out the window in all derbies and early rounds of cup.
