We have been in the 3rd tier for 4 of the last 5 seasons, we are weaker than we were last year, in poor form with a manager on his way out.

We are just being realistic. I feel like you are desperate for us to be more arrogant so that when you win you can feel more smug. We know where we are right now.

Not arrogant. I just genuinely thought the attitude would be more supportive of the young lads. Expecting them to have the attitude of an inevitable defeat is surprising but can only play in our favour.
