Drawn at home to Mags in FA Cup

probably get beat but you never know.
the important thing to remember is that if we did get beat it won't be by newcastle, it'll be by the club formerly known as newcastle.
also, i wonder how many times they play ronnie radford's goal on the telly beforehand :)

Thier fans in our end???...give me a break!!...if that AP is anything to go by..I wouldn't worry too much...Christ he couldn't fight our lass the dribbling little no mark.
there's a lot of them will have purchase history seeing as though how many have been to see us play recently :D
one of the best punches i've seen in my life was in the east stand at the richardson free kick game. one of them got outed and as he went down the stairs a lad got up out his seat, walloped him and sat back down again. i'm no fan of that sort of thing but it really was quite entertaining.

You bring that upon yourself going in with the home fans though imo, stupid f***ing thing to do when tensions are high

They will never admit it, but this is now the biggest game of the season. Howe has to win or they will turn
For both clubs. Apart from them playing in the champions league of course.

The players probably aren't that arsed, it’s the fans that care about it the most.

If Mowbray is still here it’ll be crucial we perform well for him, But Eddie Howe probably won’t realise that this is bigger than Paris or Milan or even Wembley last year this is literally it for them.

Agreed it’s huge for us but we are only after a performance and effort. They will hype this up
A lot more than us

Their players will be fully aware of the occasion. It might actually work in other favour.

Out of interest, are you the Jeff from the flying boat?

To have any chance of getting a result we need to either sign a striker before we play them (unlikely) or play no strikers and just pack the midfield and try and stop them playing. It worked ok for us a few games the end of last season. I think they will have too much for us but i think it will be a respectable performance from us.

Must admit, I've got no idea why anyone would do it, even if they thought their side was likely to win. I could be at SJP and either jump up when we score and get my head kicked in or sit on my hands when we score which would be shit. And if they score I have to stand up and try not to look gutted. What's the point? Would much rather be in a pub in Sunderland enjoying it (well, enjoying might be the wrong word for derby day, but you know what I mean)
